Congratulations to Professor Jagadish on receiving Australia’s highest civilian honour, AC, Companion of Order of Australia 2016!

Former president and 2015 Pioneer Award recipient of IEEE Nanotechnology Council, Professor Chennupati Jagadish, who is Australian National University’s most beloved academics, and one of the world’s pre-eminent physicists received Australia’s highest civilian honour- AC, Companion of Order of Australia 2016.  Professor Jagadish was recognized in public on the Australia Day for his “eminent service to physics and engineering, particularly in the field of nanotechnology, to education as a leading academic, researcher, author and mentor, and through executive roles with national and international scientific advisory institutions.”

Congratulations to Professor Jagadish!

Advancing nanotechnology for the benefits of humanity has always been the main mission of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council.
