Special Call for 2026 Nominations – Interim VP for Finances IEEE Nanotechnology Council
The IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC) invites nominations for the following elected position:
- Interim VP for Finances (one year appointment, July 2026 – June 2027)
The individual appointed to this interim position may seek election for a regular term during the NTC AdCom election to be held in July 2027 in Messina, Italy.
Nomination Requirements
- A statement from the candidate
- A biographical sketch (in IEEE format)
Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026 (midnight US PT)
Nomination Materials
- A position description and nomination form in the NTC Nomination Package
- Duties for the positions are described in the Nomination package and also in the NTC Constitution along with the NTC Bylaws.
Eligibility
Officer candidates are nominated from:
- Current AdCom members, or
- Past Adcom members who have served as Member Society-appointed or ex-officio AdCom members within the previous five years.

Additional Rules
- Nominations may be made only by AdCom members (Society representatives and ex-officio; see website AdCom Roster).
- An individual may not serve concurrently as both a Council officer and a Council Member Society representative.
