IEEE NTC President’s Welcome Message

Dear NTC Community,

I am pleased to welcome you as the 2026 President of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC)! The Nanotechnology Council has existed for more than 20 years and is among the fastest-growing units of the IEEE in recent years. It currently has over 50,000 members worldwide. NTC is a multi-disciplinary group that develops theory, design, nanotechnology advances and their scientific, engineering, and industrial applications. It has its roots in the Pioneer era of nanotechnology and owes its success to the enthusiastic work of many volunteers and the tireless effort of its Leadership.

NTC provides outstanding opportunities to stay technically engaged through our highly ranked publications and conferences and possibility to create a network with like-minded colleagues from all over the world. It has one of the most dynamic Young Professional platforms, which together with the educational activities offers the prospect to shape your professional career and achieve your goals. It also provides many opportunities   to contribute as a volunteer to its continued growth and expansion, all for  the benefit of our community. There are no membership requirements to join and participate in the NTC initiatives. NTC is free and open to everyone!

I encourage you to follow the journals sponsored by the NTC and to submit your latest achievements in the field of nanotechnology. Attending our perfectly organized conferences has proven to be a memorable experience and we look forward to meeting you there.   Don’t forget to check the NTC e-Newsletter, published every two months, and to connect with us through our  various social networks.
