The 18th IEEE Int’l Conference on Nano/Micro Engineered & Molecular Systems (IEEE-NEMS 2023) will be held from May 14-17, 202e at the Ramada Plaza Hotel Jeju, Jeju Island, South Korea.
IEEE-NEMS is a premier conference series sponsored by the IEEE Nanotechnology Council focusing on the promotion of advanced research areas related to MEMS, nanotechnology, and molecular technology. Prior conferences were held Virtually (2022), in Xiamen (China, 2021), San Diego (2020), Bangkok (2019), Singapore (2018), Los Angeles (USA, 2017), Matsushima Bay (Japan, 2016), Xi’an (China, 2015), Hawaii (USA, 2014), Suzhou (China, 2013), Kyoto (Japan, 2012), Kaohsiung (Taiwan, 2011), Xiamen (China, 2010), Shenzhen (China, 2009), Hainan Island (China, 2008), Bangkok (Thailand, 2007), and Zhuhai (China, 2006). The IEEE-NEMS Conference typically attracts over 600 attendees with participants from more than 20 countries and regions worldwide.
This event will take place in Jeju Island where you can enjoy the wonders of nature and Korean cultural heritages. Located in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula, Jeju Island is a popular tourist destination among domestic and international travelers alike for its beautiful and pristine natural scenery. Jeju Island is a unique place worldwide, holding the honors of the natural science area such as UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve [2002], UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site [2007] and UNESCO World Geoparks Network [2010]. We have prepared social activities to support participants’ interests with one another and relish the beauty of Jeju. We hope you will take part in this conference to broaden your horizon!
Conference Scope:
We are now calling for submission of 2-page abstracts for review by the Technical Program Committee for inclusion in the oral/poster technical presentations at the conference. Located near the beautiful ocean at the center of Jeju city. The conference venue is a 5-star hotel with 400 guest rooms and suites and a convention room with a meeting capacity of 1200 people. This country’s first costal hotel built right on the ocean is located just five minutes away from Jeju International Airport and Jeju Port.
Access to Jeju
Jeju International Airport, the 2nd largest airport in South Korea, is located in the north of Jeju Island. Jeju International Airport easily connects Korea with the major cities of China, Japan, and other Southeast Asian countries, via a total of 29 direct flight routes (13 domestic and 16 international). There are three ways to fly to Jeju Island: by direct international flight, by transferring at either Incheon International Airport or Gimpo Airport to a domestic flight to Jeju.
