The 23rd IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology (IEEE-NANO 2022) will be held from 6th to 8th of July, 2022, at the Auditorium of Palma, the capital of Balearic Islands, Spain.

IEEE-NANO is the flagship IEEE international conference on Nanotechnology, which has been a successful annual conference since 2001. Recent conferences were held virtually (2021 & 2020), Macau (2019), Cork (2018), Pittsburgh (2017), Sendai (2016), Rome (2015), and Toronto (2014).

The conference scope spans both nanoscience and nanotechnology including: Developing new nanomaterials matter and nanometre length scale, Studying the fundamental physical, chemical or biological properties of these nanomaterials and nanostructures, Manipulating nanomaterials and nanostructures  to create nanosensors, nanoactuators and nanoelectronic/nanophotonic devices.

Both contributions from both academic and industry-based researchers.
Listed below the more specific topics that IEEE-NANO 2022 will focus on:

  • Nanorobotics and nanomanufacturing
  • Nano-Biomedicine
  • Nanofabrication
  • Nano-Optics, Nanophotonics and Nano-Optoelectronics
  • Spintronics
  • Nanoelectronics
  • Nanosensors and nanoactuators
  • Nano-materials
  • Nano-Metrology and Characterization
  • Modeling and Simulation
  • Nanopackaging
  • Nanomagnetics
  • Nano Energy, Environment and Safety
  • Nanoscale Communications
  • Nano-acoustic devices, Processes and Materials
  • Quantum, Neuromorphic, and Unconventional Computing
  • Emerging Plasma Nanotechnologies.

Authors are invited to submit papers 4 pages in length for the Regular Paper Sessions and Special Sessions in PDF version, double column, IEEE format, with a minimum font size of 10 points on the symposium submission website. Author may choose to make submissions anonymous, although that is not mandatory. Accepted papers will be considered for IEEE NANO 2022 Best Paper Award, and the conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore. After the conference, authors are invited to submit extended paper versions (containing at least 30% but preferably 50% new material), to pass the normal review process, for potential publication in an IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology Special Section.

TIMELINE:

Special sessions Proposals: February 20th 2022
Deadline for regular submissions: February 20th 2022
Deadline for presentation without publication submissions: May 15th, 2022
Notification of acceptance: April 15th 2022
Camera-ready submission: May 15th 2022
Early-bird registration: June 1st 2022
